  • defines and justifies the belonging of a word to a particular group of vocabulary;
  • selects words adequately to construct a statement of a certain content and style;
  • determines the morphological features and syntactic role of independent parts of speech;
  • substantiates the spelling of words with rules;
  • uses various types of linguistic dictionaries;
  • uses linguistic dictionaries and reference books to improve their own speech;
  • edits sentences and texts containing lexical and grammatical errors.
