Refund policy

General Overview

Our store operates under two models:

  1. Subscription, which provides access to the full course catalog;

  2. One-time purchases of individual products such as courses, textbooks, quizzes, or books.

Since these are digital products with instant access, refunds are only available in exceptional and clearly defined cases.

We are committed to providing reliable access to all learning materials. If you encounter any technical issues, we are always happy to assist and restore access.

When Refunds Are Possible

For Subscriptions:

  • You did not gain access to any course due to a technical error on our side.
  • You were charged twice for the same subscription period (duplicate payment).
  • You purchased a paid subscription and requested a refund within 24 hours of payment without starting any course.

For One-Time Purchases:

  • You did not receive access to the purchased product (course, book, etc.) due to a technical error.
  • You were charged twice for the same item.
  • You made a purchase by mistake and requested a refund within 24 hours, without opening or downloading any content.

When Refunds Are Not Available

  • You accessed at least one course or product from the catalog.
  • You started a course, downloaded content, or completed assignments.
  • The issue is unrelated to our platform (e.g., lack of internet connection, device incompatibility, or regional restrictions).
  • You activated a free trial subscription — refunds are not provided for trial access.
  • You made a one-time purchase and accessed or viewed any part of the content.

Suspension of Access

In case of subscription cancellation or failed payment, access to all courses will be automatically suspended — including courses already in progress. To resume learning, you will need to renew your subscription.

Payment Completed but No Access?

If you completed a payment but did not receive access within 1 hour, please contact us. We will manually activate your subscription. These cases are rare and usually related to minor technical delays.

Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

If a chargeback or payment dispute is initiated with your bank, your access to the platform and purchased content will be temporarily suspended until the issue is resolved.

14-Day Withdrawal Period (EU Customers Only)

If you are located in the European Union, you may cancel a subscription or purchase within 14 days of payment, provided that you have not accessed or started using any course or digital content. Once access is granted, refunds are no longer available under EU digital content laws.

Refund Processing Times

If your refund request is approved, the amount will be returned to your original payment method within 5–10 business days. If you haven't received the funds after 15 business days, please contact us again.

How to Request a Refund

Option 1:

Email us at sales@uni-books.store with the following information:

  • The email address used for the purchase
  • Type of purchase (subscription or one-time product)
  • Payment date
  • Brief description of the issue
