More information

The interactive course is designed for 4th-grade students. The interactive format makes learning engaging and effective, allowing students to confidently master the material.

This course focuses on enriching knowledge of parts of speech—nouns, adjectives, verbs, adverbs, pronouns, and numerals; identifying these parts of speech in sentences, distinguishing between them, constructing sentences, and enhancing them with the specified parts of speech. Studying parts of speech aims to deepen students' understanding of grammatical and lexical meanings of words, features of inflection and derivation in Ukrainian, and the syntactic function of words in speech. It also aims to develop students' oral and written language skills, and their ability to use words accurately in coherent speech.

During the course, you will learn to recognize parts of speech based on questions, modify them according to numbers, genders, and cases, determine the base form (nominative case singular), use the correct case of parts of speech in sentences; use parts of speech appropriately in different cases and write their endings correctly; record adjectives with a soft final consonant in various case forms; correctly pronounce and write adjectives ending in –ський, –цький, –зький; use adjectives in both literal and figurative meanings, synonyms, and antonyms in your own coherent statements; decline personal pronouns as models; and correctly write and appropriately use the most common nouns, adjectives, numerals, prepositions, and pronouns in speech.

The course includes the following topics:

  • Nouns
