This course is designed to assess and enhance students' competencies in various areas of the arts, with a focus on dance, music, theater, and film. It includes diagnostic tasks that cover both visual and musical arts, aiming to consolidate students' knowledge and appreciation of different artistic expressions.

Course Structure

• Tasks 1–5: Visual Arts

• Tasks 6–10: Musical Arts

• Final Section: Diagnostic Work Results

Expected Learning Outcomes By the end of this course, students will demonstrate an understanding of:

• The difference between folk and stage dance

• Dance as an art form within choreography

• The concept of ballet and the basics of ballet vocabulary

• Various dance types: folk, historical ballroom (e.g., polonaise, mazurka), and modern stage dances

• Types of theaters and an introduction to pantomime, including its key features and terms like mime and makeup

• The diversity of film genres and the use of artistic imagery in animated films

• The profession of a sound engineer

• The unique characteristics of circus arts

Prerequisites Basic computer literacy, reading skills, and a foundational understanding of the arts equivalent to four years of study.
