The expected outcomes of the course are to verify the development of the following competencies:
- Understanding of living organisms: animals, fungi;
- Identifying characteristics of animals, their organs, and the conditions necessary for the survival of various organisms (plants, animals, humans);
- Naming natural communities and conservation measures for animals;
- Providing examples of animals from the Red Book of Ukraine and explaining the necessity of their protection;
- Understanding the significance of water, air, light, and warmth for organisms;
- Describing animal behavior based on personal observations and information from additional sources;
- Recognizing and naming animals and fungi from different groups (2-3 representatives each);
- Comparing and classifying animals based on specific features;
- Associating animals (from images, collections, etc.) with their living conditions;
- Modeling the relationships between animals, organisms, and their environment;
- Observing and describing animal behavior;
- Caring for animals and sharing experiences with others;
- Drawing conclusions about the relationships between organisms and the non-living environment, showing an emotional and value-based attitude towards living nature, and caring for it.
