More information
Embark on a comprehensive preparation journey for the National Multidisciplinary Test (NMT) with our "Tests NMT Biology - Demo Version 2024" course! Developed by the Ukrainian Center for Educational Quality Assessment (UCEEQA), these demo tests are designed to familiarize future participants with the format, structure, and difficulty level of the "Biology" section of the NMT.
Why choose our demo tests:
- Familiarization with the test format: Participants will experience the test interface, the layout of tasks, navigation between them, and the tools available during the test.
- Understanding the structure of the "Biology" section: The tests replicate the number of tasks of different types typically found in the main NMT session (usually multiple-choice and matching questions).
- Assessment of task difficulty: The demo versions include tasks with a difficulty level close to those that will be offered in the actual testing, allowing participants to evaluate their preparedness.
- Time management practice: Completing the demo test under conditions close to real ones (with a time limit) will help participants learn to effectively allocate time for solving tasks.
- Reduction of psychological stress: Familiarity with the testing procedure and task format helps reduce anxiety before the main NMT session.
Course Module
Module 1 General information
Module 2: Tests NMT Biology - Demo Version 2024
- Tasks 1-24: Multiple-choice questions with four options (0 or 1 point)
- Tasks 25-28: Matching questions where each row of information must be correctly paired (0 or 4 points)
- Tasks 29-30: Numerical answer tasks (write the answer in the designated space, 0 or 3 points)
Maximum number of test points: 46
Key Features of the Demo Tests:
- Aligned with the current External Independent Assessment (ZNO) Biology syllabus: The tasks cover the main topics and sections provided by the external independent assessment program, including human anatomy, general biology, botany, zoology, genetics, ecology, and evolutionary theory.
- Close to real NMT tests: The format, structure, and difficulty level of the tasks correspond to the official testing criteria, which will help you better prepare for the actual exam.
- Various task types included: The tests include questions on biological terminology, diagram analysis, table interpretation, sequencing biological processes, and applying knowledge in practical situations.
- Answer verification: After completing the test, you can review the correct answers and analyze your own mistakes for further improvement of knowledge.
Recommendations for Using the Demo Tests:
- Complete the test in calm conditions: Create an environment as close as possible to the real exam – set a time limit and do not use additional materials.
- Carefully analyze the questions: Pay special attention to the wording of the tasks, as even a small detail can affect the correct choice of answer.
- Work with diagrams and tables: Many questions in the tests require analytical skills to interpret biological structures, such as cells, tissues, and organs.
- Connect knowledge with real-life examples: Biology is the science of life, so try to relate theoretical concepts to real-world examples from nature or human biology.
- Analyze your mistakes: After taking the test, pay attention to the questions that caused difficulties and repeat the relevant material.
- Repeat the tests several times: This will help you better remember the structure of tasks, key biological principles, and confidently prepare for the NMT.
