This interactive course will provide students with the knowledge and skills needed to solve complex problems, including those related to processes, motion, and teamwork. Throughout the course, students will master written techniques for multiplying and dividing multi-digit numbers by two-digit and three-digit numbers, and will also learn to work with named numbers.

Expected Learning Outcomes Upon Course Completion:

Plans simple research projects.
Uses mathematical experience in interdisciplinary research tasks, project work, and everyday life problem situations.
Checks the accuracy of calculations.
Has skills in written multiplication and division of multi-digit numbers by single-digit numbers.
Has computational skills in written multiplication and division by two-digit numbers.
Understands the method for multiplying and dividing by three-digit numbers.
Performs written division with remainders.
Solves problems involving finding the fourth proportional, double reduction to unity, proportional division, finding the unknown from two differences, teamwork, and uniform linear motion of two bodies.
Solves problems with letter data.
Solves simple problems related to calculating the duration of an event, the start date of an event, and the end date of an event.
