More information
Explore modern AI tools and turn your ideas into practical projects! Our “AI Lab: From Prompts to Products” course introduces learners in Grades 10–12 to modern artificial intelligence tools and technologies. Discover how to write effective prompts, generate text and images, create memes, produce videos, work with AI-generated voice and music, and design personal AI assistants.
Through practical case studies and assessments, learners apply AI tools to creative projects, research, learning, and everyday digital tasks. They explore how AI models work, learn to evaluate AI-generated content, practise fact-checking, and develop the skills to use AI effectively, critically, and responsibly.
Why choose our course:
- Build a foundation in AI and prompt engineering: Explore the fundamentals of artificial intelligence, learn how prompts influence AI responses, and understand the basics of safe and responsible AI use.
- Create content with AI: Practise generating and refining text, images, memes, and visual styles to communicate ideas creatively and effectively.
- Explore AI media tools: Discover how to create videos, generate voice, and work with AI-generated music to produce multimedia projects.
- Design your personal AI assistant: Learn about AI assistants, memory, and system prompts, then design and test a study helper for a specific purpose.
- Use AI for research and learning: Explore AI-assisted research, summarization, study tools, fact-checking, and study planning while learning to verify information rather than accept every answer at face value.
- Understand how AI works and evaluate its results: Explore concepts such as tokens, vectors, and model behaviour, compare AI tools, and consider their capabilities, limitations, and responsible use.
- Apply knowledge through practical case studies: Work through realistic scenarios, evaluate AI-generated outputs, complete assessments, and prepare a final project that connects the skills developed throughout the course.

General Information
The course combines readings, instructional videos, practical case studies, and assessments. Each module introduces key AI concepts and tools and provides opportunities to apply them to realistic creative, educational, and research scenarios.
The learning sequence moves from AI foundations and prompt engineering to creative content generation, AI-powered video and audio production, personal AI assistants, research and study tools, and the basic principles behind AI models. Throughout the course, learners practise evaluating results, checking information, and making informed decisions about when and how to use AI.
Practical case studies help learners connect concepts with real-world tasks, compare possible approaches, identify limitations, and develop projects using appropriate AI tools. The course concludes with a Final Exam combining case-study tasks and assessment questions to review and consolidate the knowledge and skills developed throughout the course.
Estimated duration: Approximately 12–15 hours.
Recommended pace: 3–5 hours per week.
Learners can complete the course at their own pace.
Expected Learning Outcomes
By the end of this course, learners will be able to:
- Describe the fundamentals of artificial intelligence and explain the role of prompts in interacting with AI tools.
- Write, refine, and evaluate prompts to achieve more relevant and useful results.
- Generate and improve text, images, memes, and visual content using AI tools.
- Describe the basic principles of AI-generated video, voice, and music and apply appropriate tools to create multimedia projects.
- Explain the roles of memory and system prompts in personal AI assistants and design and test an assistant for a specific learning task.
- Use AI tools to support research, summarization, study planning, and other learning activities.
- Check AI-generated claims against reliable sources and identify potential errors, unsupported statements, and limitations.
- Explain basic concepts such as tokens, vectors, and model behaviour at an introductory level.
- Compare AI tools and evaluate their suitability for different creative, educational, and research tasks.
- Recognize key privacy, safety, accuracy, and responsible-use considerations when working with AI-generated content and AI assistants.
