  • Construct affirmative, interrogative, and negative sentences in the Past Simple tense.
  • Recognize and pronounce /t/, /d/, and /id/ sounds correctly.
  • Create oral and written sentences about past events.
  • Answer comprehension questions using past-tense verbs like fall, sleep, take, find, put, swim, see.
  • Express years in English (e.g., 1996, 2010).
  • Discuss favorite film genres in groups.
  • Use Past Simple and Present Simple to understand short dialogues, asking and answering questions in these tenses.
  • Discuss leisure activities and describe past events and feelings.
  • Talk about movie genres using cohesive words to describe past events clearly.
  • Actively use topic-related vocabulary (e.g., scared, happy, excited, sad, surprised, angry, funny; blackout, brilliant idea, science-fiction film, romantic film, comedy, horror film, Internet café, cinema complex, funfair).
