Course Goal

The goal of this course is to provide students with a general understanding of the population of Ukraine and the world, including its national composition and the administrative-territorial division of the state. The course will outline the historical stages of population changes in Ukraine, introduce new demographic concepts, teach students how to analyze population data, calculate birth and death rates, and explain concepts related to natural and mechanical population movement.
