The goals of this course are to:

• Introduce students to the shape of the Earth and scientifically explain its rotation on its axis and its orbit around the Sun.
• Explain the relationship between Earth's rotation and the changes in day and seasons.
• Describe how the Sun affects nature, weather, and human life.
• Promote a healthy lifestyle for students using resources available during the winter period.
• Teach students how to take care of their health and safety on the road during winter.
• Familiarize students with cultural aspects of winter celebrations in Ukraine and around the world.
• Demonstrate how different plants and animals prepare for winter.
• Discuss possible winter activities and the responsibilities of people during this season.

The course includes the following topics:

• Day, Year, Winter Months: Understanding the concept of time and how winter fits into the yearly cycle.
• The Sun’s Influence on Nature in Winter: Exploring how the Sun affects the natural world during the winter months.
