Interactive Course: Mathematics. Grade 5. Repeating Elementary School Mathematics
An engaging, interactive course designed for children, featuring interactive tests and exercises.

This interactive course is specifically designed to help students review and reinforce key mathematical concepts they learned in elementary school. It presents a dynamic and engaging learning environment where students can revisit important topics such as arithmetic operations, geometric figures, measurements, and motion problems. With the inclusion of interactive tests, quizzes, and exercises, students will actively participate in the learning process, which enhances their understanding and retention of essential math concepts.

Key Concepts Covered in the Course

  • Quantities: Length, mass, capacity, time
  • Arithmetic Operations: Operations with natural numbers
  • Geometric Figures: Point, line segment, ray, line, angle, polygon
  • Motion Problems: Solving problems involving movement and distance

Course Modules

Module 1: Repeating Elementary School Mathematics

  • Introduction
  • Numbers and Operations
  • Quantities: Operations with Quantities
  • Numerical and Algebraic Expressions
  • Equations
  • Geometric Figures on the Plane

Expected Learning Outcomes
By the end of this course, students will be able to:

  • Reproduce number sequences up to one million.
  • Read and write numbers and fractions, comparing them when they have the same denominators.
  • Perform arithmetic operations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division) with numbers up to one million.
  • Understand fractions, including the numerator and denominator, and their conversion.
  • Apply rules for calculating fractions of numbers and finding numbers based on their fractions.
  • Master the order of operations in expressions with and without parentheses.
  • Know measurement units for length, mass, capacity, and time, and how they relate to each other.
  • Measure and compare quantities like length, mass, capacity, and time.
  • Convert units of measurement, whether from two different units or within one unit.
  • Perform arithmetic operations with named numbers (such as units of measurement).
  • Write mathematical expressions and statements using mathematical symbols.
  • Solve equations with one unknown, following the rules for finding unknown components in arithmetic operations.
  • Verify that the value of the unknown is the solution to the equation.
  • Identify and classify geometric figures based on their key features.
  • Recognize and describe the essential properties of rectangles (and squares), circles, and the ability to construct them given a radius or diameter.

This course not only covers essential mathematical concepts but also helps build critical thinking and problem-solving skills through interactive learning. Students will develop a deeper understanding of mathematical operations, measurement conversions, and geometry while honing their ability to apply these skills in real-life scenarios.
