This interactive course helps second graders better understand and master the basics of the Ukrainian language, specifically sounds and letters. With vibrant illustrations, engaging tests, and interactive tasks, students can easily and enjoyably learn the correct spelling and pronunciation of Ukrainian words. The course is designed so that children can independently practice their language skills while simultaneously developing reading and writing abilities.
The course focuses on developing phonemic awareness, oral and written language skills, correct pronunciation of language sounds, and representing these sounds with letters in writing. During the course, students will learn to distinguish between the concepts of sound and letter, divide words into syllables, identify stressed and unstressed syllables, and recognize vowel and consonant sounds. They will also learn to differentiate between hard and soft, voiced and voiceless consonants, and to mark sounds with letters. The course covers relevant spelling rules, including marking soft consonants, using the apostrophe, sound alternation, and writing unstressed e, и, о.
